My high beam indicator kept working and I did nothing special for it.

Man, you’ve got those looking great. I think I painted mine all silver first, then taped off for the black.


And for the two having the pissing match, I have the feeling one of you is the type of person who volunteers for the HOA to enforce the neighborhood grass height requirement at the houses in your cul-de-sac. If every part installed on our trucks was DOT approved and that was enforced, we’d be in the same boat as the aviation industry. You don’t want that. It is possible to be non DOT compliant and retain a stock (or higher) level of safety.

 

I used easy off to remove the Crome
They were black underneath

Did you trim the back of your Orbit shrouds?

 

I tried that, but the tabs melted so I need another way to do it

 

I just scuffed them and painted, I didn't strip the chrome. Yes, I trimmed the backs a little bit.

 

I tighten mine down without trimming and they seemed to be ok

really tight and scuffed off some of my housing bucket Paint, but You can’t see it when the shroud is in the bucket.

Did you do demon eyes?

Trying to decide how big of a hole to drill in the back to run my wires for the demon eyes

Of course there is nothing online

 

No demon eyes and no halos. I didn't want any extra wiring, complication or headaches with my setup. HIDs can be finicky enough and I didn't want to add to it.

In other news, I just ordered my Tundra parts...I'll be retrofitting it soon!

Oh, no. I did Tundra brakes a long time ago. I meant a retro kit for my Tundra's headlights

Yea, that's the panamara 2.0 shrouds. They were only a $40 upgrade when buying from the retrofit source. Paid a little over $300 for everything.

 

A little less “showing off” and a little more learning and guidance is helpful don’t you think?

Here are my mounting positions for
2 Demon Eye Drivers
2 Halo Drivers

Driver side blinker positive wire is green with a black stripe
Connect to Halo orange switchback wire


Passenger side blinker Positive wire is green with a yellow stripe, you can intercept it in the wire loom in front of the battery behind the drivers side headlight (there are quite a few wires to dig through)
