    I’ve seen a few SR/SR5 owners that add a decal on the rear of the bed. They don’t “upbadge” tho. I’ve seen the “TRD OFF ROAD” style decal but instead says “ SR5 OFF ROAD”
    They actually look pretty cool. and they are not trying to say they have a “higher” trim level.

    Yeah I think that's what the previous owner of mine did. Modified a decal to make it look like an SR decal. I wasn't into it but do what ya want ya know

    I've seen those too, always thought that was cool. Some guy on here had a lifted SR 4x4 with 35s and had a decal on the bed that said "SR OFFROAD" thought it looked badass

    That was me! I added the SR5 badges on the door pillars, 4x4 badge on the tailgate, and removed the "Off Road 4X4" decals from the bed. It's not that I want everyone to think my truck is an SR5. Actually, it's debatable because my truck is an SR5 with "Off Road package", like the 1st generation and 2nd generation Off Road models that came from the factory with SR5 badges... Heritage. Simple as that. #5 is my favorite number. I like the 4x4 badge on the tailgate. I also didn't necessarily like the red "Off Road 4x4" decals on the side of my truck. I'm a Taurus, and the red messes with me; Toro! Toro! :rofl: And, It's my opinion is that the side of the truck looks cleaner without them. Sure, people drool over an unmolested stock truck :notsure: Upbadging, Nah... I'm into "Linear" badging. :wink:

    I doesn't bother me. If that's what someone wants to do to their truck and it makes them them happy that's all that matters. There is someone near me who has done to to their SR5 and every time I see it I just smile. It's his truck and I'm sure he's happy with how it looks.

    I debadged and remove the stickers on mine because I personally like how it looks with out all that stuff.

    EDIT: It's your truck do what you want to it

    Because just maybe someone out there will think that you paid 40 grand for your truck instead of that paltry 28 grand. That extra 170 bucks per month places you amongst the hoi paloi; who wouldn't want to emulate that? :D

    Funny you guys talking about upbadging.

    I wanted my local dealer to get me a 7570 (SR5 DCLB 4x4). Two dealers told me they dont exist (Frontier and Hamer Toyota). So I showed them pics, and they said and I quote "the 4x4 badge on the rear of SR5 DCLB is a fake badge"

    LOL.

    Since I bought mine elsewhere, once I take it to Frontier for oil change, I wonder if they will think my 7570 is a fake upbadged truck? LOL
