Pro Grill or Factory?

That’s what I say, can never go wrong with keeping it stock cause people can’t talk (if it’s ugly, or copying others) it came with the truck lol, but hey at least you were one of the first ones to have it!

To the op the trd pro grill does look good and nothing wrong with copying the masses it’s the way you want the truck to look and it’s YOU that’s gonna live with how you feel about the mod. Like you mention earlier the trd pro grill does match dark colors and is nice.

I'm still on the fence about the grille insert, but I definitely want to color match paint the grille surround. The one I have now is plastidip'd which doesn't look bad, but I prefer the gloss painted version instead. I tried to paint it myself before and f'd it up, hence the reason it is plastidip'd now.

 

Which brand tricolor badge is that? The one you linked looks like white,grey, black. But yours looks like 3 colors of grey. Or is it just the picture.

 

It's more the picture. I'll admit it's a little washed out, I think the dark gray could be a little darker and the white could be a little whiter, but the picture makes it even worse than it is. It looks pretty cool in person.

I ordered a new replacement OEM grill with the black color matched painted grille surround. I'm going to sell the current plastidip'd (aftermarket) grill and the original OEM grille (chrome surround) to offset the cost. I don't need three grilles. I'll just pop in the black T logo into the new one for now. I still may buy the Pro version insert too.
