Ummmm Idk what I'm missing, but there's no way to turn off my HID headlights. . . I hooked it up to the battery, and BAM they turned on with the key out of the ignition and light switch turned off. I was wondering how it was going to work because it's not hooked up to my stock headlight system. I may not be making any sense.... anybody help me?

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
You're not supposed to hook them direct to the battery

Color matched grill w/ grillcraft. BHLM and Morimoto Mini HID's Debadged.
You need to go through a switching relay. Anything you hook directly to the battery will be on as long as the battery has juice, and you pretty much always want your battery to have juice.

the key doesnt turn off the battery... when connecting to the battery, there would be no way to turn them off.

Are they HID fogs, drivers, or hids that install in place of the stock bulbs?

if they are in place of the headlight, wire them using the stock wiring to power the balasts

if they are in addition to the stock lighting you will need to wire them using a relay and aux switch or off of the stock wiring. (ex. if you want then on with high beams only, you can tap the high beam and use it to trigger the relay for the lights...)

Ahhh I understand now. LOL fml.

Yes they are just cheap ebay BHLM/HID's. How am I supposed to wire them using the stock wiring? Maybe I should just take them somewhere and get them pro installed lol.

itd be easy... since HIDs use less power than stock lights you would not need a relay.

I will update this post with wire colors so you know which are highs/lows and ground...

The HID ballast should have 3 wires, 1 ground, 1 for low, 1 for high to control the lights

post a pic if you can

Disconnect the lights from the battery and wire your horn straight to the battery. This should fix your problem. :D

true but a "cheap Ebay kit" would not be considered a "good" set lol:p

    no instructions???

it may be low only kit. it may also use the bracket for ground and the two wires for power, 1 for each high/low.

yep. no need to touch that one... if you cut the wires do it far enough back so you can reuse the stock plug
