What are you streaming on Amazon, Netflix, etc?

I liked it. I read the book, which was better. But, isn't it always?

I had a roommate in college that worked at radio shack and sold cell phones. When a customer came in with a request (new phone or whatever) he would call whatever carrier he sold for and if he didn’t get the answer he liked he would end the conversation and call back to get another person. He could get almost anything he needed.

I can confirm that it works. Might take a few calls and don’t get too far into it otherwise they’ll start a record and it won’t work.

I will also confess it doesn’t always work but a few extra minute of trying is worth it to me usually. Just got to get the right person who will work with you. Helps to be super personable and friendly usually.

Yup exactly. The last guy I talked to was limited by what his computer told him he could offer. He was surprised by seeing the discount I got last year - whomever gave me that one managed to somehow game the system and stack the same discount twice so it was a net 40 bucks off instead of 20, and then double it again so that it was 40 bucks off for internet, 40 bucks off for TV.

I told last year's person that I loved the internet but only signed up for TV in the first place because the bundle was cheaper than just internet alone. Which was true, and he worked his ass off to make the bundle cheaper than just internet again. This year's guy was like "yup I feel you, but it's cheaper just to drop the TV." Cool. Thanks for trying, I still have the box for the receiver.

Finished Cobra Kai. Fun, loony romp........corny but watchable

 

I checked out Man Hunt deadly games and Man Hunt unibomb on Netflix. both were pretty good Drama docs. One about the olympic park bomber, and the other obviously about the unibomber.

 

The olympic Park bomber one was real good. It had a beginning, middle, and end. Sick of binging a show and I get to the end to find the next season was canceled or years out.

 

I would say the Olympic Park bombing was the better of the two. I knew more about the unibomber case than the park bombing going into the series, so it kept my attention more, not knowing/remembering that much.

 

Picard CBS All Access, usual Star Trek fare, not bad, not great...

 

I tried watching “Discovery”. They redesigned the Klingons, reminded me of Ninja Turtles.

 

Just got Disney, and started the Mandalorian

 

Just got Hulu. Excited to watch Fargo and letterkenny

 

Starting s1 e1 Fargo. I hope it’s as good as the movie and the hype!

 

Just finished Vikings and started watching You which is weird as hell.

 

Finished up Season 3 of Cobra Kai last night, still really enjoying it.
Good mix of nostalgia, action, backstory, and it doesn't take itself too seriously.
