I’ve had a package I ordered off eBay sitting 30 miles away since New Years Day. Was supposed to be delivered on the 4th. I had another package coming in tandem, went to same place at same time, and was delivered as expected. Dunno what the fuck is happening. Like they have a room of random packages they just chuck, and at some point pull a few back out to finally continue the journey.

 

Is that site the place for tacomaworld misfits?

Mailman just dropped mine off. 1 day late from the delivery date. I'll try and post the install experience. Clip nut was correct size included. Shipping box did not show any damage and parts were pretty well packaged. As with others the handle caps will need a little work to fit flush. Bottom piece has an edge that feels sharp.

Well, guess Brian is no longer helping her as that's a bad email address now. I was told by him a replacement part was packaged and waiting to go out, then I'm told by Katie through IG that she hasn't heard about this one and it's not on her list... despite the fact that I've been emailing the warrantyclaim email address also since 1/6 (and she had previously responded to my IG dm about it). This is beyond ridiculous.

I'm really hoping this is due to a disconnect between my IG and email, but geez this whole process has just been so frustrating.

 

But it looks beigey when the sun hits it just right.

I am glad to see that other truck manufacturers have eliminated the driver's side grab handles for safety reasons.....

Toyota playing the long game. They save the $5 or less ish per handle manufactured and retain an extra million bucks or so each year for frame replacements on the much smaller percentage of Tacos coming in for such.
