My wife and I were married less than 2 years, our son was a newborn, my wife and I were fighting like cats and dogs and decided to redo our kitchen. She went to the store on a Saturday morning, a friend and I gutted our kitchen to the studs. She had no idea, it didn't help our marriage situation. We used our small camper as our kitchen in the back yard. You can see the chair and the cover where she was feeding our son.

    0707122121.jpg

Took me and my buddy about 2 months to finish it.

    767045_1008.jpg

After we got it done my wife and I separated for 2 months. It was the best thing for us at the time. We worked things out and are as happy as we've ever been now going on 11 years of marriage this year.

    Done! It’s a castle nut/washer combo.

Nice castle nut. I learned what they are when I was 19 and thought I'd do a quick rotor swap on my Mazda truck. Turns out that required pulling the hubs, so I did all the wheel bearings at the same time. It was about a 6 hour job with my dad involving several trips to the store and a phone call to someone qualified to tell me how much tension to put on said castle nut.

I do a good job spatially envisioning things, and I'm sure eventually it would come around, but my brain just doesn't work like that. Probably because I've been doing this kind of stuff for the last forever.

    What I was given:

    20210111_120205.jpg

    What it turned into:

    Capture.jpg

They wanted 3 offices, mail room, etc; they got 9 offices. Of course, they probably wanted their offices to be three times the size but that's just not going to happen. :D
