Yesterday at the gun range I had to cross about 100yds of 24"water. Slow in low 4wd to stay on the underwater road. Minus rear diff what else should I look for? From looking outside it seemed to be just below the rocker panels by about 2 inches. Maybe wheel bearings, zerk fittings on drive shaft? Not something that's common to do for me. I'm on 265 85 r16 duratracs, think that's stock size, mostly stock no lift yet.

265/70 is stock size. Never seen 265/85s before... I have 265/75 which is a 32”

Front diff and t-case have a breather that run into the engine compartment, so you should be fine. Bearings are probably fine. Plenty of people submerge them. I know I have, and still on my originals.

Rear diff has a breather too, but it’s barely higher than the diff. It’s a really simple mod to extend it if you are going to make a habit out of this lol.

If you want to change the rear diff fluid just in case, you can. But I wouldn’t worry about too much else. No more water than a heavy rain storm, really.

I would not wait too long to change it. I went through a creek just a couple of weeks ago ( I didn't have the rear diff mod done at that time) This is what the fluid looked like when I changed it 2 days after the trip. Keep in mind this gear oil only had 6K miles on it. My rear diff sucked water like a baby sucking a tit!

The neutral safety switch , add on the front diff and the transfer case actuator motor also enjoy a slurp of fresh water when you take your truck swimming.
    They are not sealed well

All fluids were good except for transfer case. Was surprised by that
