I have a problem where my Hi and Lows aren't coming on. The DRL work but I dont have any high or low beams. The corner lights come on aswell. Ive checked all the fuses and they seem to be fine. I cant think of anything else.

You might check and see if the switch is working.

I changed the switch from a truck that is working a while ago and still nothing.

I did that aswell, everything is good. Like I said the corner lights come on but anything after that doesn’t.

Do you hear the high beam relay click on when you pull the stalk?

This sounds like a job for your Multimeter. Start at the switch, work your way from there.

Your sure the switch is from the same year as your truck

Just because the plug matches does not mean the pins are the same.Toyota Loves doing this.

Have you checked anything with your Meter??

Are the DRL`s shutting off allowing the head lights to function like they should?

Always start with the simple stuff. If the fuses are good, check the relay. Not sure if you normally hear it in your truck, but definitely check it. I would also do a scan for DTCs; I recently resolved a VERY annoying parasitic drain issue because of a stored "Dome light shorted to ground" code.

Visual inspection of fuses is not always 100%. Need to put an ohm meter across them to be sure.

Start with the head light bulbs and go backwards. See if you have power at the bulb plug and go backwards to the relays, fuses and switch.

Here's a diagram and description of how the system works, looks like you may need to check the daytime running light relay no 4

Question: When you pull the "flash" does it flash the high beam? Do you hear the DRL relay click?
Also make sure 7.5A DRL fuse is good. Don't visually check it, but measure with the ohm meter. Make sure you have 12V at the fuse.

Points of interest to check are marked with red arrows:

    upload_2021-1-14_14-37-36.jpg

    1. Fuse is good and has 12V on it
    2. Relay is clicking when you pull the "flash" stalk
    3. This ground point is good.

What about 7.5A DRL fuse. Is it good?

    upload_2021-1-14_16-9-50.jpg

By the way DRL Relay (No 4) that should be clicking when flash is pulled is located behind glove box, not in the engine compartment.
