ah yeah, mine got tight at like the 10 o'clock position so loosening really loosened it. I don't know if it matters which way its facing when you starting putting it on or not but should be good now that it is on. No plans on taking it off

you shouldnt try to force it to be straight. you can use the little screw to set the position correctly.

I know, I only did because it got tight at about 10 o'clock and loosening it, it was real loose. Either way on there now, so won't mess with it

I got the orange to match my old dog’s collar, so I can look down and feel like he’s riding with me (he never got to enjoy the truck before passing, but the young pup gets plenty of rides.)

The AJT ring just looks off to me now that it’s in there? Functionally it is totally fine and seems well made. I don’t have any complaints about the AJT ring other than it just doesn’t fit my style (and that falls on me for buying it rather than holding out for one I liked better) Aesthetically, I just lean to things looking cleaner cut/simpler.

Totally understandable. We’re living in the world of inferno red Tacomas too — depending on the light or my screens settings, they can look orange, red, or both all at once :D

I forced that mo fo in place. I have no clue what the Allen wrench does as it was way too small to make any adjustments. With all the torque my 180lb body could provide I got it perfectly straight and that thing is never moving.

Really love mine has a nice heft to it. The G10 gives it a nice grip not slippery. Fits perfect with MESO cap you snug it up with supplied set screw mine is on very tight no movement. Find myself leaving my hand on shifter as if I have an MT. I believe the price was fair for the quality item I received.

lol there is a little hole on the front of the knob that the allen key fits into. there is a little screw you can tighten to hold the knob in place once you have positioned it straight.

Super random, but what wallet are you using. I have a similar yet super heavy slim wallet and that one looks nicer...

I don't think we're going to get an answer. He hasn't logged into TW since May of 2021. We may never know, but if you find it in you travels, be sure to come back and let me know and I'll do the same, Duck!

The wallet is a Trayvax "Contour" wallet. It's their most expensive, but we'll made in the USA. I love mine!

Thanks man! Way to swoop in and answer the question. I’m ordering one, especially if you love yours. I’m not a huge fan of the one I have now. Greatly appreciate you jumping in here!

No prob! I got excited when I saw it in the pic. It's great for a minimalist wallet that will last forever. Mine is about 5 years old now and I've never had an issue yet. It's adjustable to fit more or less cards and the built in bottle opener is sweet! Enjoy!
