Rock sliders

I guess another option would be to carry around a step stool. My brother has one he uses on his Cessna to make it easier for our mom (who is in her 90’s) to get in the plane.

Nah I’m just kidding. I’m a 17 year old kid building out a Tacoma to go out and explore. The main reason for wanting a slider step that sticks father out from the cab is for the protection and because it seems like my friends are hitching more rides on the side than they are used for rock sliding.

 

But still willing to trade for a 0° or 10° rock slider

 

Those would destroy a shin if slipped on haha.

 

There was one rocker slider that had an option with a bolt on step. The step can
be unbolted when off roading.
Anyone know who makes this rock slider? I saw the pictures ..great idea!
You can also be creative...by getting a flat piece of metal..angle it ,make your own steps?

I went through this with my wife, believe me, and once I got the sliders on, and they took a couple of, money saving, hits she thinks I know what I am doing. But we are in our 50's, married 30 years, so at this point, we both know that I don't have any idea. She is great for playing along. Actually after I got the sliders and we used them a few times my wife suggested I needed a better skid plate. Smart Woman!
