I’m not sure what size you’re looking at, but I’m currently in the house hunt as well. The houses I’m seeing in Windsor that are ideal for me are new construction, 1,500-2000 square feet, 3 bed 2 bath, 3 car garage right at $400k. With a 2 car instead you’re closer to $375k

I work there right now and without a doubt would move there if I didn’t know I’d end up in some shithole like Boulder for work in a couple of years. Being 20 mins closer to i25 makes a big difference to me

I'm seeing /looking for similar, but don't want to get into a new build if we can avoid it. Market in Windsor seems like it's been slow for the last couple of weeks tho, so impatiently waiting to see what comes online.

I'm small town / think everything in this State is overpriced in general. But after walking through x amount of houses in our hunt for a home, I'm absolutely disgusted at what people are asking for their shit box houses that haven't been updated since the Civil War.

With there being no old home "discount", I would only be looking at new build with their 2x6 walls and added insulation and more energy efficient HVAC's, on demand hot water and appliances. No brainer for me to gain lower utility bills against possible higher PUD property taxes.

Just ordered one of those Ridge wallets after you gents were talking about them the other day.

I only ever need my ID and like 2 other cards, so not sure why I've been carrying around a leather wallet full of shit I don't need all these years. o_O

Dr. Hannah is hard to resist. A calming, peaceful Catherine Gregory video helps to settle the spirit.

Out of curiosity why are you trying to avoid new build? I know there’s usually some issues with the house but my thought on it is they usually have a 1-2 year warranty so everything is covered. Plus you don’t have to worry about what the previous owner did to fuck things up. With the current housing market, to me, it’s the same as when I bought my Tacoma. I was looking for a slightly used truck (house in this case) but brand new is barely any more than used, so might as well take the warranty and the piece of mind that someone like @Wulf wasnt there fucking things up before I bought it

Yeah but the semi traffic to me is a plus if anything. Large bay car wash with a platform, cheap diesel (compared to Windsor), and only 1 stoplight
