Recieved my order for a diff drop and BPV and installed the bpv in no time flat. went to install the diff drop and the bolts are 1/2x6" not 1/2x8". all the hardware stores closed 6 minutes ago. seriously franked my day up.

Mistakes happen. Have you called them? What did they say? A true measure of a company is not when mistakes happen but how they handle that mistake. I wish people would call them and resolve the issue before starting a thread like this. It's as if it's more exciting for you to discover a mistake like this than to work it out and share your experience with us.

I swear that whenever i buy auto parts(not just from toytec) there is always that one thing that is missing, doesnt fit, or doesnt come with the item. i did call but of course they had gone home for the day damn time zones! im definately not knocking them(yet) lol. ill be trying to contact them tomorrow. as long as i can get ahold of some bolts all will be well.

but thats just it. quality control. Ive ordered twice from them and had similiar results. Upon calling, they made excuses. This tends to urk me, as both of those transactions were $700+. I realize I may have been the poor sap out of 1000 that this happened to, but last time I took a business class you do not make excuses. Have since gone elsewhere with much better results. Toytec does offer Pproducts you cannot get anywhere else though, and I'm sure the flaming will begin with satisfied customers. Perdon

How many skid plate spacers did you get with your toytec kit? They are the square pieces. Did you get 4 of those?

The 2nd gen diff drop kit has 4 of those in it and I think the long bolts are a bit shorter than the 1st gen bolts. Wrong kit?

I thought it was the wrong kit as well but its just the 6in bolts that I received should have been 8 inches. even the invoice says I should have been 8 not 6.

Negrotundra-man I think we both must be on someones shit list

    Your kidding right?
The mistake should have never happened in the first place. Do you think that companies build their reputation on customer service "after" the fact"?
If the correct bolts were shipped in the first place the OP wouldn't have had to call customer service in the first place to ask the to "make it right"
Remind me never to order anything from you if you start a fab shop.
