so you were able to negotiate the deal they put an order in for the truck??

 

10 hrs in 2 day time?? I can't do that... I have to work. The dealerships are just pain in the ass.

 

No that is is without the utility package. How did yours came out so cheap?

 

19 dealers. over 200 emails negotiation.

For my 2021 I just bought, 63 dealers, close to 400 emails over 11 day period.

Was rough, but I am a cheap C (bad word for female)

 

What interest did you get?

 

My trucks aren't financed. So I can't tell you anything about interest rates.

 

Out the door $41,585.

 

$45,105 which included Adv Tech, LED lights and TRD Prem OR packages

 

haha yes I was. They said that was super rare and never happens.

 

MSRP $41,771. Price $38,771. OTD $39,814.26 including a local $200 county road tax.
2021 TRD O/R DCSB, magnetic grey, tech package, LED headlights, fog lamps, and DRLs. Silly sill protectors and floor mats and the 4 lovely bed cleats. Also the stiff mudguards and bed light. Like the bed-light though.
Best part was that I picked up a color match canopy from a fellow returning a lease. 50% cost of new and no two-month wait. Floors mats front and back and bed mat included.

 

I was just finalizing the details for a TRD Pro at Lowe Toyota in Warner Robbins, GA and was then told they just sold it to someone else. I hope that person is a member here. It is a great looking truck.

Needless to say, I do not recommend doing business with Lowe Toyota in Warner Robbins. GA. I spoke to the Manager and he was like oh well.

 

yeah I dont recommend doing business with dealers at all... whoever thought of this idea buy cars thru a dealer needs a punch in the face. I wish i can buy cars like tesla, but I have no hard feelings. Nothing personal just business... what sucks is the time that they took away I can't ever get back! I am looking to buy a 4runner or a highlander for my wife soon. I like to go there to hammer them as much as I can and stir the pot just to get them pissed off! haha... good luck on your hunt on TRD PRO!

 

Funny thing, I own a Tesla now.

 

Forgot to mention, I got the $1000 off and 1.9% financing offer. I took the $1,000 and financed through my local CU. I intend to pay off the loan shortly upon sale of my other car, etc.. Dealer wanted $389 for etching it had done. I said "thanks for the gift, but I'm not paying for that." The dealer dropped it right away. Other than having to go in mid-morning, seeing someone else drive "my" truck off the lot at my appointed time and having to wait, it wasn't a bad day. I'd committed 4 hours to the rigamarole and I was 10 minutes off.

 

did you buy it at the store with the tesla sales person?

 

how is that possible?? so you build the truck at the dealership and came up with this MSRP then haggle down from there??? I dont think I have ever seen a dealership willing to haggles when its not even in the lot. go you!

 

I put a deposit down on a truck they were going to bring in for me. They said if that truck fell through, they’d honor the price on an “order”. They are doing invoice minus Toyota rebates. Now I wait.
