Yeah I zoomed out a bit on the map and it looks pretty remote away from the state forests, unlike the other place.

 

Well that is dumb. Went down for my test, made the appointment last night for what I thought was today at 11am. Apparently, it was made for tomorrow at 11am. They said I could still do it today as a walk-in but the wait was 2 hours. Fuck that, I'm not going to wait around for 2 hours either in the lobby or in the truck. I'll just go tomorrow.

USPS left my Spirava Rx at door to chicken coop in freezing weather yesterday. I got a text notification but didn't find it untill this morning.
Eggs were missing
Rooster is dead
Chickens have bloody backsides.
Rx says Do Not Freeze.
Should I return the Rx ?

lol Riverside is not the boonies...nor is Stockton or Modesto for that matter. Damn son you need to get out to the actual boonies, which in CA are deep in the desert where the survivalists hole up or up in the mountains away from the cities.

But yeah the smaller towns in CA you can buy a good house for half a mil or less. I would never live in Stockton though, hell no.
