@OVTune is there a fix yet for the vibration in the downtube?
If we take our kit now can we still get a replacement downtube in the future?

The fix is to make sure that the downpipe does not rub anywhere, if it does in the spot where the bend is, it just needs to be slightly bent further.

Downpipes are not being redesigned, there wouldn't be replacements. The downpipes we do have here (extras) will just get a little bit more bend

There are a few things being worked on and changed for the next kit revision, but you guys will have the option to change those pieces out if you want to.

Thanks! Can’t wait to get this thing dialed.
Already planning a bigger diamond rear axel and to push this kit to the max.
I want my trophy truck already!

Ordering all the extras I need for install like Meso’s list of heat shielding, PCV stuff, oil. Couple questions.

    1. Does anyone have a direct link to the turbo blankets for these turbos? Or atleast what you’ve found to fit well.

    2. What product are you guys using to wrap the downpipes?

    3. I think I like this option for the PCV reroute best. Thinking to buy this coupler and replace the air box coupler, and grab a 5/8 to 1/2” barb. Anyone go this route?

I also saw this option but I honestly don’t understand how it works

    Damn those blankies are spendy!!
I’m going into it with the mindset “the more heat shielding the better”, but how necessary are the blankets?

Did you use the 1” or 2” wide lava wrap? 50’ enough?

Max, the 2nd fitting is better. You want to keep your breather line at 5/8" vs reducing it. The first option doesn't come with the silicone coupler. It's just the metal fitting. You have to drill a hole in your coupler and insert it.

Both are very similar, but option 1 requires multiple parts (more chances of leaks/problems). You would need a barb that threads in with an NPT thread which really needs thread sealer. Plus it's only 1/2"

Go with Option 2. Get it at 5/8". No reducer or complicated plumbing needed.

That barb / port fits into the silicon hose. Drilled hole. Should be near the end of a hose.
You probably need to access the inside / underside of the fitting to hold it so you can
    tighten it from the outside.

Cool, easy enough. I’ll just get the barb installed before assembling the coupler. Still planning to use the coupler off the intake box unless there’s a reason not to. Referencing this post:
