I eat Keto, which is a high fat, very low carb diet. So the coconut oil and ghee are a great way to take in some fat for energy. Plus coconut oil contains MCT oil which is good for you.

I've considered this. The biggest problem for me is that my wife and I are going entirely different directions. She wants to eat more plant based, and I want steak every night!

 

Yeah, but I do love a good salad, man.

 

So do I, truthfully.

I just love good food, no matter what it is. My spouse, on the other hand, food doesn't "do it" for her...though she is picky AF for someone who says "I don't care" what's for dinner every night.

 

Tried growin Iceberg once. Wouldn’t even come up thru the snow.

I tried it. I really did try, too, and it sucked. I've never eaten so much food that just tasted nasty in so many ways in my entire life.

I eat lot's of fat! Lots of bacon, eggs, avocado, stuff cooked with butter and bacon grease! I cover my broccoli with butter and cheese! It's delicious! I've lost about 35lbs (can't really lose anymore I'm skinny) and at 46 feel better than I did at 30. So much more energy.
Medical science is finally starting to come around to the fact that maybe it's all the sugar and carbs making us sick and fat. Not actual fat.


So get your Starbucks and only add cream (if anything) and drink it like a man!

 

The senior manager of my dept at work swears by keto. Not only did he lose weight, but he says his blood pressure dropped out of the stroke zone to a pretty normal rate.

 

Keto only works if you literally make it your life. The moment you eat a carb it’s over and you start all over again. Ketosis is great but it’s super difficult mentally to make it your life.

 

Quit eatin’ table sugar after I saw it bein’ made at the factory. All I asked was how come nothin’ grows in the tailings pile out the back & the silence pretty much settled that issue. Still can wear jeans I wore in high school. That was a long time ago.
