That makes sense. Wasn't even thinking along those lines.

I have the Ruger SR22 for plinking.....love that little thing. I have shot at least 3000+ rounds out of that thing from all types of ammo from different manufactures and I can only recall one failure to feed.

That's the one I have, no feed issues, every once in a while it'll stove pipe but it's very rare. It's a fun shooter and I think I picked it up for $300 brand new.

    .22 Revolvers are fun.
I have a Ruger Single Six Convertible. 2 matched cylinders and one is .22 Mag.

Lots of great guns mentioned. Can’t go wrong with the S&W, M&P 2.0 full size 9mm. Very soft shooter. Eats all ammo. Too big for easy conceal carry, although.

Why did you chew through the middle of the target, maybe bring a snack next time.

Nice shooting. S&W was my dads favorite, and he was an instructor for his dept. Out of his probably 30 plus guns, there are only 4 left, and two are old revolvers that belong to my grandfather. Let’s just say I’m not happy with my brother.

    Damn you 2.0 folk.

I can't complain about my 1st gen M&P9. I got it for a song when the 2.0's were first coming out, and it's a sweet little shooter.

Edit- Plus, I found out after the fact that S&W had a rebate going for them, where you got two free 15rd mags, a speedloader, and two packs of Hornady Critical Defense, so that was a nice bonus.

Target was set at 50 feet. The Gun is completely stock. The “flyers” are me, not the gun. It’s a “tack driver”.

I’m not much of a gun guy, but something looks odd to me in that pic.

Nothing odd, there are a lot of pistols that don't have a 'fixed' barrel. I'm assuming that's what you're referring to, the barrel being a little 'off'

Ya, looked all fubared. Again, not much of a gun guy, lots of room to learn.

    All should be great shooters.

Glock is a love/hate company. You’re going to find full on fan-boys who think Glock is superior and you’re going to find full haters who can’t stand them. At the core it’s an awesome gun used by military all over with a massive aftermarket available. I believe my G26 is a 3rd gen but I would have to check. Getting a Glock in MA is a huge PIA so it’s certainly not a popular option. I personally think the G17 is too big and so I prefer the 19 but ended up with a 26 :notsure:

And there is a built “Home Defense” 870 at the bedside. It will have one in the chamber and you won’t have a warning slide of the action. You will get a blindingly bright light off the side of the barrel so I can see you and you can’t see me first though

I hope I never need to use that gun for its built purpose. Rather have and not need sort of build.
