Nope. I plan on doing zero fuel upgrades.
    Just stuck with a pump/controller.

No clue. I just want the controller so if this one goes bad in 15 years, and OV has his feet kicked up in the caymans, I’ll have a backup.

Edit: You haven’t hinted at a price yet, but I’ll give you 100 for the controller.

Those of you that have or are planning to wrap your downpipes, I’m going to pickup some lava wrap.

Should I got 1” or 2” wide? Was thinking 2”...
Think 50 feet would be enough for both?

If one of the downpipes is already touching and a tight fit I think I’ll leave them unwrapped for now.

I think it’s just an issue around the steering shaft? I’m going to preemptively make the dent a little bigger before install.

Won't the wrap "bridge the gap" and span over the dent?

It may end up silencing and dampening the vibration if that’s the case.

    possibly. I’m reaching here.

Depending on where it hits the shaft it will tear the wrap apart. Seemed like that's what it did w Meso wrap. Could be wrong though.

Couldnt you just “skip” the dent? Or is that not how lava wrap works? I’ve never used it.

That makes sense. I’ve had had it do the same where my motorcycle boots have rubbed or saddlebags have rubbed on wrap before. Especially if it’s near a universal joint or anything sharp on the shaft.

The wrap does bridge the gap. Mine hits at the bottom bolt of that ‘coupling’ in the steering shaft, I believe that’s where Meso was hitting also. First it shredded the wrap, then I felt stiffness in the steering as the bolt brushed past the pipe, now it’s a grind when turning the wheel when the bolt is pushing on it. I also feel vibrations during high rpm shifts and a touch in the gas pedal like Bige. I’ll have to take that downpipe back out and see what I can do. I’m hoping it’ll come out from the bottom, I fed it from the top like the directions said, but now that I’m heat shielded I doubt it’ll come back out that way without removing the shielding, so I want to avoid that. I’ll be taking care of that before I drive it again.

According to OV, just dent it more if you rub on test fit. It’ll be a during install refit I’d guess. Apparently some dents were big enough and others not so much. There is also a small amount of play at the pipe to turbo mating.

Maybe the wrap pulled and tweaked the pipe closer to shaft on one of the snags and made it worse?
