I searched everyday multiple times morning and night, offerup, craigslist, and car-part.com. I saw these pop up on offerup and contacted the seller within 16 minutes of him putting up the ad and told him to hold them for me at his asking price of $300 for these super nice oem "Sport" buckets right from an 02 SRunner.

The seller told me he had "a thousand people hitting him up" when I went and picked them up.. 20201018_173351.jpg
I smiled, paid, and drove home a happy man!

    Right on. Looks great.

If you wanted to take it one step further. This made a huge difference in my truck.

Compared to the blown OEM suspension with 120k miles on it, this shit is amazing.

I didnt think my regular cab 5 lug had one (maybe since these seats were never offered in the regular cab), can you spot it here by chance?!

The red circle indicates the open harness that plugs into the seat belt sensor. Can that be tapped or are you saying you had the power lumbar harness hookup ready to plug into the seat directly without any mods?!

Sweet suggestion, I was thinking of this as a potential next step since I have sound deadener laying around actually! How thick is the material you used and did it fit nice and easy under the factory panel? How far did you cover toward the outer borders or any other tips for the install?

In mine there's an open connector under there, not used by anything. I'm not sure if you could use the seat belt harness to power the lumbar, check it with a multimeter to verify power.

Very nice! What light bar you end up going with? You have a tutorial as to how you mounted it and wired it?

This is the stuff I used. No problems, it fit under factory panels. I covered all the way from plastic trim pillar to plastic trim pillar.

Here's what I did when I sound deadened my cab. Really, one of the nicest, most underrated things you can do to an older truck... now that I've done it!

Materials (and thicknesses, etc.) are all listed. No problems with rear panel fitting - it was one of the easier areas, actually.

You mention what I agree is like at least 75% of the key to leather survival.

I have a 2003 Camry with heated leather. I bought it new to be my DD for a comfortable 60 mile per day commute. Mine is definite proof of the "direct sunlight kills leather theory". In the parking lot I use at work, the spots are oriented perfectly on a N-S parallel. Every day since it was new I have parked it facing N. About 6-7 months (high sun azimuth months) of the year I also use one of the reflective windshield shades.

I never leave the windows open, even a small amount, for venting (don't want the windblown dirt intrusion). So, it does get really hot inside the car. This heat buildup seems to have had minimal to no impact. BTW, with exception of a bit of warping at the passenger A/Bag cutout, my dash also looks like new.

At 18 yrs (next month) and 168,000 miles, and having never had a single leather conditioning treatment, my seats literally look and feel like new. I'm not discouraging treating the leather. I know my situation is not the norm. Since I was seeing no degradation, I just didn't want to risk any change in the leather characteristics that I might not like, such as becoming more slippery, discoloration, or odor.

Of course the spoiler and the rear bumper cover are pretty faded, but, I'm okay with that trade off. I mean, it's an 18 yr old Camry. Who cares!

I've done a mod or two
UV certainly is the biggest killer, that and if you can't support yourself well enough to not drag your ass over the edges of the leather that will all abrade too.
