    Like, so many.
I did the Icon progressive AAL that was supposed to net 1.5 additional inches, but with my shocks in the front on the second perch, it was still riding a little bit nose up, so I put in a 1 inch block in the rear as well. The U bolts that came with AAL were plenty long enough to accommodate the block.

Been looking into these Eibach shocks with OME springs. Your setup is Eibach front shocks with adjustable height spring perch (3 clip settings) with the OME 887 coils?

And you got over 3 inches of front lift? What setting is the spring perch on?

No, it’s all OME up front. It’s a lot more lift than I bargained for. Needed to do upper control arms ($600 out the door) in order to align. And definitely need larger tires

Oh ok, I gotcha. The UCA are expensive, but believe me your truck will drive so much better when you get those caster numbers up.

I was under the impression I did not need them. Before OME UCA install truck pulled left and was all over the road.

Not sure I follow. You already got aftermarket UCA?

From what I've seen and experienced, any 3rd gen Taco lifted ~2 inches will need aftermarket UCA to get their caster back into the +2 degrees or greater range. Any caster numbers lower than this will not track very straight on the road. It will want to wander and steering feel will be vague.

Also, cross caster matters more if you mostly drive roads that are very crowned (for water runoff). Cross caster can help eliminate pulling to the right while driving in the right lane.

I originally purchased the old man email kit without upper control arms. The rep at Toyotech said I will not need them. After lifting the vehicle with the 887 springs I achieved 3 1/4 lift over factory. For whatever reason it was this high… I had to additionally purchase upper control arms.

    So. Many. Stickers.
With no additional weight up front, heavier springs can result in higher lifts.

I'm still amazed you ended up with that much lift though....

Damn, that's high! Did you have to install diff drop spacers/rear bearing spacers w/ that much lift?! Any vibes to report?

Wayyyy high. Double/triple checked/ got second opinion of why it’s higher than a giraffes ass. No clue.
Yes kit came with carrier bearing drop. Needed more of a drop tho. So used washers as shims till it went away , then cut chunk of 6061 aluminum to replace spacer and washers. Vibe felt 15-20mph, similar to chunky mud tire vibe. Truck is 2wd, no diff drop. I haven’t read of anyone with this ‘lift is higher than expected’ issue yet. 887s are known to sag after a bit tho

I understand they are heavier than stock, but they were the lightest OME offered. One solution offered was to get a bumper & winch

2wd. That's why you got more lift than the others. Front is lighter than a 4wd.

Was hoping for more of a suspension upgrade than a lift. Something to soak up the bumps on gnarly Forrest service trails with truck loaded with camping gear rather than height

Apx 700lbs lighter. Still, other 2wds achieved less height

15-20 vibe can be fixed with 3 degree shims.

:anonymous: doing my ECGS bushing first, if that doesn't cure it, to shims I will go
