Reverse light switch

Quick question, do the automatic transmission use the same reverse light switch as the manual transmission do?? Can’t seem to find one for an automatic

No. Automatics use the neutral safety switch for the back up lights.

Would help to know year and engine but either way it is mounted on the passenger side of the transmission case I believe, why are you needing to change it?

 

. Sorry about that.. 2003 3.4 As for replacing it.. I was told that could be the reason that I’m not getting 12v to my reverse lights

 

Here's a wiring diagram for the reverse lights, looks like its gona be the black/red (power in) and red/black (power out) at the park neutral switch, need to check power on those before condemning the switch.
