Howzit taco kids... I’m looking to get new tires... something aggressive looking off-road with equal time on-road... no lift! Share some tire pics with me please! I can’t decide

 

AT3W, KO2 and Duratrac seem to be the popular choices. Can't go wrong with any of the three.

I love a good tire discussion! Can't help it. Went through the same situation that you are going through. I wanted to keep the stock size. Lot's of good suggestions here but I narrowed my down to:

1) Nitto Ridge Grapplers

2) Falken Wildpeaks

3) Toyo Open Country

4) Pirellis (new winter tire)

I really wanted to check out the Pirellis ... but ended up going with the Nittos in the same size as the stock tire. Fit great. Look great. Ride great. This is my second set so I knew what I was getting. Love the tire. Need to do more off roading, though, but I did that with the previous set and they were great.

But as one of the posters here noted ... there are so many good options you really can't go wrong! Good luck. Choosing new tires is actually fun !

 

Cant go wrong with KO2s. Looks aggressive, good performance in all conditions and silent on the highway.

Goodyear duratracs!

Great in the mud, incredible traction in snow and ice, severe snow service rated.comfortable and quiet on the highway considering their mud prowess. Just drove to Cali on them!

Loved those tires in the snow, i was amazed. Excellent off road as well. I had a slight hum on the highway though, i had 265/75/16 E loads.

 

Just installed these. 255 75R 17 SL's. Love them in the snow Haven't played with them in the mud yet. Seem a bit squirrely on the wet asphalt but that could be my driving style

From my experience duratracs were not the greatest on wet asphalt. Less surface area of the tire touching the ground, it does kind of make sense.

 

I put on Duratracs in November, been in rain, snow, slush, etc. and I have found them to be vastly better than the AT3Ws.
