    Pictures don't do justice.

Short bed more than capable. Rather wheel with a SB than a LB. I've confirmed that many times at MOAB.

Or bend your knees a little like when you were inside MaMa’s belly. Intrauterine. It’s comforting.

Access cabs have the same wheelbase and long bed so I get the best of both worlds.

Plus strapping down a mountain of crap doesn’t mean it fits.

My 1996 Tacoma 4x4 was $16,430 brand new in May of 1996 which was a pretty good sum of money back then for a stripped down small pickup. It only has AC and AM/FM radio, manual windows, doorlocks etc. I was also looking at a Nissan that was loaded and just over $15,000 but a friend advised me to get the Tacoma as it would last years longer than the Nissan. I guess he was right since I'm still driving it 25 years and 414,000 trouble-free miles later.

    Nice, good deal.

I prefer 4 doors, looks better. I don't really have more than 1 other person with me in my truck on my trips, so I can utilize the backseat for all stuff that needs to stay dry, while leaving other stuff in the bed, thus not really losing any space.

    Best of both worlds myself.

Yeah but look how many dealer installed options you included. $309 USD for box lights??? I paid around $150 CAD for the lights and installed myself within 15 minutes with just a screwdriver. $199 USD for them to install LED interior lights? You would be a fool to pay their prices for the majority of these items.

I will however say the base price is ridiculous. In June I paid $45k CAD ($35k USD) for a 2020 Sport Premium 6MT with the TRD skid plate and all weather floor mats.

I believe he was just showing how much the prices have risen in a few years.

That's only because in 2002 you didn't have JBL audio, leather, multi terrain cameras, led headlights and every other expensive gadget available for the 2021. When I bought my '17 TRDOR I picked the most expensive package except for JBL audio and it was still roughly 38k MSRP. Factor in inflation, its roughly the same.

I'm not buying the truck. Was just curious about what a loaded OR or Sport MSRP would be.
Now I know. 52K and still....no bed cover.

Ah. The mark up and labor they tack on is ridiculous. A OE bed cover in Canada is easily $1,400 uninstalled. Not a good direction for Toyota if you ask me. I don't know why they needed to add certain new features like a power driver seat etc. I say keep the cost down. Plus the new power seat is slower than hell. I would prefer the manual seat that was in my 2016.

Can sorta agree on the power seat. I moved mine the day I took delivery. Haven't moved it since.
