The 12-15 trucks had the provision for secondary air injection so that's the only reason they're year specific

 

Can they be modified

 

I think you can run the 05-11 headers on a 12-15 but you have to use 12-15 gaskets and then have the SAI system disabled with something like HP tuners to keep the truck from going into limp mode. It can be done, but will take modifications for it to work properly

 

I heard a 2jz swap will fix that
