    I agree with your sentiments, my goal was to assist with the install, not foregoing the the issues with the actual issues with the seller. I wanted the grab handle since my hip and knee were a determiting factor. I only wanted to help those who my have issues with the install.

    I guess I'm old school leaning towards any mod that requires mods to the vehicle, I have learned that sometimes you have to learn to adjust to the circumstances, anyway, I'm happy with the turnout I got what I wanted out of the fiasco. My only goal is to help those who may have issues with the hand they have been dealt. I am happy with how mine turned out. Plug and play most certainly not. However, if I can help, that is all I can offer to them. As KTJO would say, it's for the community. Now don't roast me please.

    I have to say that the shipping box should have been longer to accomodate the A pillar and more padding inside would prevent any damage any product inside. Just my opinion.

    Noted Tony, this is the only enhancement I have added from KTJO, and the only that I have done that required tweaking to add on. All the other mods from TW members have been spot on without install issues. To date the fog light mod, tailgate lock mod and others haven't been an issue. Now if I can afford a OV tune mod that would be awesome.

    The OV Tune is very nice. Check the list here for folks that might be close to you and can flash you for much less than the full kit:

    Ah! I will say that even before the sharing happened, I felt the old school Flash Kit was worth it. With a small MPG bump, it does eventually pay for itself.


    The skid is nice. Getting protection and a smooth surface back to the crossmember is a good thing.
