I was back and forth about what to make amber. A serious conundrum. I went with the blinding pro series on the ss3 . Keeps the bullshit Seattle drivers away from me while commuting

I see an awful lot of answers on here without asking the one question that should have been asked.

Where and how do you plan on using these? Are you wanting to fly down those country highways with confidence, or are you looking to light up the turnoff to your campsite, or are you looking to impress at the cars&coffee meetup?

Those options are there because people have specific applications in mind when adding lights. :D

what would you recommend for someone who does mostly trail riding? I plan on going with the DD sport fogs, DD light bar (I was thinking combo) and DD ditch lights - all amber lighting.

this is a good point. My approach was:
    -Define budget
    -Define light requirements (commuter/trail)
-research the engineering aspect of how/why the light is made that way.
-compare life span of light and warranty

I'll let you know about my Cali Raised install (32" Combo), and how the lightbar worked out, and functions as it's going to be installed next Tuesday by "Asheville Vehicle Outfitters", a very reputable overland and retail shop that represents the major names in quality off road goods, and also do service work on Toyotas' to name a few brands with certified ASA Master mechanics with many years of experience. Their shop and all that they carry there retail would make a sane man, or woman go broke in a NYC minute with all of the "must have goodies" they can provide you for your ride.. I have to be disciplined when I go to visit them about not reaching for the wallet! I am lucky to have such a great place nearby for my Tacoma "needs".

    Solid setup.

I'd recommend doing the light bar in white and leaving the ditches in amber, but it's really down to personal preference.

I wouldn't be afraid of too much amber I run mine in heavy fog and it works well try to do that with a white light and you'll go blind all depends on what your looking to do with it.

Too much to name for this little space
Although I think the stock bumper looks good, I'm a fan of getting a new bumper and putting the LED bar in there. I get a TON of compliments plus you get the added security going down the rode at night for things like deer. Or maybe even the added security of some knucklehead in the city that backs into your front (happened to me; totaled his car and chipped an inch diameter of lining off the pre-runner bar); that's why I back into any spot I can. Not to mention my legal LED fog lights that cover more width on the sides of the truck and depending on the bumper, you can even add a winch. I think first mod to do is always front armor

I'm looking forward to my install, and future usage. We have deer issues here where I live, and don't care to "introduce myself" to one driving at night. Besides, it's dark as heck here living in the mountains! As I posted somewhere else, my Cali raised in-bumper LED is getting installed on Tuesday of next week.

Hard top camper...many more to add+
Cali raised now make a hidden light bar..no need to cut the plastic...going thought bushes , tree trails, and very rocky terrains ...I think (just thinking)...Combo’s will light areas near front and sides better..
I had a combo on my old Ranger ..the combo work very well, but not sure if other style would have been just as good...
I have Pods light only ,going through our coffee land...it made a HUGE difference...I like this wide angle..lighting..
The Tacoma factory fogs lights project a wide angle..on super rainy nights...you are focus on near roads..and the fogs make a huge difference seeing where the road is..
To see or not to see more?
    Aloha
Days a long time ago...had no bar lights...just a spot light...it work well for me...
