I actually ordered and bought a rear bumper from ADD today, coincidentally for my truck (hopeful to get it installed next week). I wasn't interested in a front bumper, just the rear.. The thing I really liked about the rear and the front (now looking it is more closely) is how slim they are. Now this could potentially be a con because how much will a slimmer bumper protect against a bumper that sticks out more from the truck? Definitely less should you hit something. Another con is price, yeah not going to lie, you can definitely go cheaper for sure. Everything I have heard though they are great bumpers and they fit really well on the truck, very precisely. I think it really comes down to what you want for your truck to be honest and what will fit your needs the best.

    Who? I'd like to see

I like the style of this bumper but after all of your inputs I can see why this maybe isn't the best choice. I dont know why I like that sorta "no bumper" look here ‍♂️
Some of the bumpers I've seen have lots of over kill accessories that I dont think I will need. But I would like a sort of higher clearance than the stock bumper has. I dont want to lift my truck either so just something to make it look a little higher, even tho its not. I like the suspension showing as well, just cuz its cool. But after @MadKatt comment I would be afraid of exposing that much.
Also you all mentioned the hefty price tag. I initially thought that was high myself but I am not familiar enough to say for sure. It would be nice to find something used I can snag, but I think the odds of that are slim.
I've got a few connection to people with welders and some skills, but not enough to fab my own. So diy seems out of the question.

Is it a "risky" move to add, a front, rear, and sliders at the same time? Can/does the truck react negatively to all of that weight added at once?

I wanted that style in the frame cut for my Raptor, and I think it looks good on the Taco as well. Plenty of good input on the negatives here, too.

Hell yeah! Thats sick! Still really sleek. I've been looking for weeks and I never once came across that website! Thats why I came here, needed to see more options! I know they are out there.

So this one, does the protection seem adequate enough for the underside or sort of under the front end? I want something practical that looks awesome, but isn't over the top with the hoops n stuff. Also, it looks like its sort of got a lower skid plate thing going on. What is that? Part of the bumper?

I like the rear, but it im not sold on how close to the body it is. I like a little more meat in the back.

That looks great, how did you decide you wanted that one? What were some of the thoughts you had when deciding?

I can see where you're coming from. Almost as slim as the front. Like a foot wouldn't fit on there. But maybe it does. When you say meat, how big are you talking? Cuz some if them are TOO big

To each their own, but to echo at least one other comment, it just looks like it was just something cobbled together after an accident.

The SSO slimline is a beautiful bumper, to me at least.

Again, different strokes for different folks. Best of luck.

That is a great looking bumper! I'll have to look at that one too. I think everyone's opinions are valid, I can't get enough info or pics before deciding. Im sure ill have to do this with several more bumpers before I decide lol

Happy to help man! Yeah that lower section is part of the bumper, i think it’d def provide good ground clearance and protection from rock scrapes. If you’re looking for protection from animal strikes than i’d recommend something with full hoops.

you may want to look into full skid plates like the one’s RCI offers if you plan on doing a lot of wheeling

here’s an install video of that bumper so u can get a little better perspective on it than from just the pics

I didnt realize the hoops were for animal strikes...that makes them seem a little more appealing now.

Not to hit them on purpose or anything....but ya know just in case..

    In that case,
Cbi makes a gorgeous bumper with full hoops
    C4 does as well
    And relentless fab

I like a bumper to be no bigger than the stock, and not much smaller. I have the dissent offroad bumper wings. They are aluminum and just replace the stock chrome/color matched rear bumper caps.
