The Michelins haven't let me down yet but two are getting low. It might be nice to have a mildly more aggressive tire if I take the truck hunting or am in muddy trail head parking lots for winter wheeling

I might be splitting hairs but I thought the law was only if the vehicle is equipped with a license plate light that it has to work, not that it has to make the plate clearly visible

I would even consider 80W90 acceptable. Differentials are pretty basic

CA cops would probably disagree... they are pretty strict from the sound of things. here in CO a buddy got pulled over for having bulbs that weren't bright enough to illuminate it before consumer LEDs were "bright" like they are now

We've been on the subject of extended travel cv axles; posting here to not deviate from the other thread but check these out -

    https://lotusdevelopmentllc.mybigco...er-1st-gen-tacoma-single-chromoly-caged-axle/

Cheaper than the pair of RCVs for $2k

Anyone familiar with these being that they're chromoly but at half the cost?

I'm invested in 2 ext travel cv axles, and although it's not much money total, if I knew about these I might have gotten a pair of them.

I seem to remember those being more expensive before, IDK. Says only 6 in stock so maybe they are just trying to clear them out?

roommate: you were being unreasonable about me using the garage the other day

    me: how so?

roommate: it's weird that you came out and just sat in your truck (parked outside) while I was working and kept walking around

me: yea I was installing the remote start antenna and programming the keys... had to come in for tools to take the headliner apart. and there was a 12 minute lock out for programming the keys

roommate: oh I thought you were just being creepy and watching tv while I worked or something
