I love that one. It seems that it applies to all the USDM stuff these days?

I almost fell for the Abarth after hearing the exhaust note. Luckily I was able to stay away.

    Uhh... what?

Assuming that F150 has a first gen 2.7, it produces 375 ft lbs at 3000 rpm. Over 100 lbs more than the Tacoma's max and 1600 rpm sooner. And that's just max torque figures. There's plenty of power down low with those ecoboosts.

Fun things I've dealt with on my 2018 F150 work truck this week:
Monday morning: Infotainment screen say "naw brah, I aint turning on", so that means no stereo, no backup camera(truck provided by employer obsessed with no backing accidents, pretty cool). After the second site stop, it's back. Magic!
Wednesday morning: After first site stop, climate control system takes a big ol dump so we got no heat. Super cool. Then after second stop, it's back. Magic!

I drive about 30,xxx miles a year in an f150. I absolutely wouldn't buy an f150. Good luck if you go that route.

At the end of the day, Tacomas are not really supposed to be nice trucks. They're like the Corolla of trucks.

I was also a little put off by a few of these things, but having owned 8 various Toyota’s now I can say that all of them had a few quirks that made me scratch my head, but all of them were also durable and reliable vehicles that did many many more things right than they did wrong.

my 2012 Tundra had a drivers grab handle and that truck needed it being much larger. My 18 Taco does not have it and I thought that was cheap at first but after a few months of living with it I realized I didn’t need it, plus it created an annoying blind spot in the Tundra.
The lack of a power seat is also puzzling, but the telescoping steering wheel makes it possible for me to find a comfortable driving position and how often do we need to adjust the seat anyway?

my 18 does have the drivers side storage cubby in the bed. It’s good for bungee cords but it also leaks like a sieve in the rain so I can’t figure what else I would use it for anyway.

I agree on the hood struts. The Tundra had them and I didn’t appreciate them until the Taco came without. Not a real big deal for me, but the hood prop is definitely in the way.

On ding in my Tundra’s chrome bumper makes me ok with the three piece plastic bumper. I don’t pull much with it though.

It’s a great truck overall with a few quirks and short comings, I still wouldn’t trade it for any other small truck on the market right now. Tacoma World will make you hate your truck of you let it. I’m not sure why, Tundra World was the opposite I found.

Yes, because there isn’t a huge circular thing right there to grab. Also, these trucks sit so low from the factory that you don’t need anything to grab. I’m only 5’8” and I don’t even have to step up to easily get in a stock Tacoma.

The cartridge filters suck, but it’s in no way preventing you from charging your own oil.

Uhhh what? Go-pro come with a mount. And this is lame anyway.

So you’re saying they are cheap for adding something? Maybe their fiscal sense has stayed the same, they just removed all that shit no one cared about and put in electric seats which everyone asked for. Net-net the cost was the same.

Plastic sucks. But I don’t understand why you’d want to wrap a chain around the bumper of your $40k truck. Get a rack that isn’t shitty.

Let’s see, you show up on a Tacoma forum and start talking smack about what we are all driving. What do you think it’s going to do? Could he just be trolling? 3 pages of feeding him.I’d say he did ok. I’m surprised he didn’t break a finger nail on that substandard door handle.
