    Kind of a weird conversation he had with you though lol considering how good of a friend he is.

    Maybe he had something going on?

    @Speedytech7 @0xDEADBEEF you guys are much more computer literate than myself.

    Any idea why when I manually turn off my HP wifi and then turn it back on it says no networks found?

    Interent dropped out after class and when I went to my networks it said "connected with no internet" so I shut the wifi off to try and "soft reboot" it (don't know how else to call it)

    But now I'm getting the no networks found problem.

    Not the first time this has happened and I'm using my phone as a Hotspot if it makes a difference.

    Connected with no internet means you're connected to the router but no internet connection is established between the router and modem.

    Have you tried hard wiring to your modem to see if maybe your router is the issue?

    He probably felt self conscious about doing all that work for a gf he hasn't dated that long. I know when I'm self conscious about something I'm Uber sensitive to the idea that anyone watching me is judging me about it

    No I'll have to try that... hard for me to do because I only have access to hardwire to a router when I'm home in the SO's apt, when I go upstairs I can only use the wifi

    @Abeyancer

    Disregard.

    I didn't see the part about using your phone as a hotspot.

    I thought you had a dedicated modem for dsl/cable, and ran it to a wireless router.

    I know the only time I ran into an issue with my phone being used as a hotspot was when I used the phones software. Was more stable with a 3rd party app.

    I do at home, which was the first time this problem happened. At work when I take my classes on lunch I have to use my phone Hotspot and it happened again

    I made something you guys have to try. Sweet baby ray's honey mustard, some siracha, a dash of Cayenne pepper and a dash of garlic powder. So good with chicken tenders lol

    Sounds like it just hasn't scanned for networks. You might let it sit, or if there is a keyboard shortcut for airplane mode, you might cycle that to force it to reinitialize
