Wind Chill Pearl Paint Issue

With 350 miles on my 2021 wind chill pearl limited I've noticed significant rock chips on my rear fender flares. The truck has only been used to commute. Anyone have a similar experience?

 

Wind Chill Pearl and Super White both have similar issues

WCP is a beautiful color and I wish it was available back in 2019

Paint protection film covering the whole area is going to be your only saving grace. At first I didn't like the plastic non painted fender liners on my TRD OR, but after seeing this I think I'm better off...

 

larger front mud flaps

 

I just washed my super white 2019 Tacoma. I dont have a single rock chip back there. It is 2 years old and just under 11k miles. I do have stock tires and wheels and front and rear factory mud flaps. Maybe my neck of the woods has less rocks and gravel and sand on the roads?

 

My 2017 had the same thing happen until I put the OEM mud guards on. Between that and the Avid slider-style step rails I put on, it pretty well eliminated any new rock chips. It was getting pretty beat up before that though.
