Replacing OEM stereo with upgrade OEM stereo

    Would this switch work? OEM 86100 -04160 ID 510103 replace 86140-04180 ID 510101 (no-nav) 2018 Tacoma?

    you can do it, just make sure you pick up the gps module. only sr5 and up has it.

    I just put in a whole new aftermarket Head unit. works like a champ! Replaced ALL the loudspeakers too. Tossed in a Alpine amp too.

    if you dont have now, the new one also wont unless you get the gps module. if you dont care about nav, then your fine.

    yeah my current does not have nav, but this will add nav? I just want to make sure the wiring all matches up/work. Especially with steering wheel controls.

    Yes, it has GPS and you can run your favorite map application. Also you can use your phone via apple CarPlay or Android auto.

    Make sure has the same bezel size of the ones with navigation. If you have steering wheel controls, they should work via canbus or via resistance.

    Where do I purchase the gps module? I installed the new OEM unit. works great but no gps location etc.
