Do you have an ETA on when those cb mic mounts will be available and what they will cost? Thanks - for those wanting to test I asked a couple weeks ago and he said the first batch of test units were already being tested and he is waiting for results and then will be selling them somewhat soon.

 

I wish something like this was available for 2nd gen...

I'm going to have them for sale before Christmas, introductory price for the first run will be lower than the regular for a couple reasons:
1. A few test units are not the same as a first full run, so a low intro price for a first batch seems fair to early adopters because there may still be undiscovered issues.
2. It helps get the word out
Im looking at about $10 into price, depending on what tweaks I have to implement (if any)

So what are people using to cover up the unused holes?

 

I can't see them unless I'm leaning forward looking for them, so out of sight, out of mind. Personally I think they look pretty cool and wouldn't cover them up anyway.

 

Did you have the dmm installed prior to doing this mod or did you do this before mounting it?

I already mounted my dmm before buying the dual usb ports but I realized that I can't remove the flushed screws that hold down the dmm.

 

Done after initial install. A little tapping on the flush mount screws will release them.

 

Just got the Taco Garage Dashtop Multi Mount for Christmas. I added an iBolt composite 2.75” double arm and Tackform motorcycle phone mount. This system is solid. The phone is secure and there’s no vibration. It’s also easy to install.

I don’t cover mine up. But I know I’ve seen people using plastic hole plugs from eBay.

Do you have the multi mounts in stock? What is current lead time? I've tried messaging on instagram, email, and phone calls.
