Alaska guy with a family and bird dogs. This is not my first Tacoma. My last one was a 2003 and I drove it to Nicaragua one summer. Missed that truck so much that now I am back in a Taco. Thanks for having me.

Welcome aboard! Looks way too cold there in that picture. Reminds me of the several cold months that I spent in Iowa.

I bought the long bed TRD Off Road.
From my looking into them, Snugtop has fewer over-all choices. I've had Leer in the past, so I guess I could be biased. I say research them both, and if possible, a side-by-side (both installed on Tacomas) walk-around comparison.

Hands-on, user feedback always helps, but the use and application of the products, likely will not be the same in the entirety. Both Leer and Snugtop will have their own quirks.

I have a Leer 100XR which I purchased primarily for my dog. I am extremely happy with it! They’re pricey new, but I don’t think I could ever go back to not having one. Welcome to TW!

Dang Steve, too much for me. Lived in CT until I was 13 and shoveled snow, then spent 26 years in AZ, no snow, now NC limited snow.
