Nothing matches the utility/security/strength/looks of the diamondback. Or the price lol.

But if you wanted to add a rack and open it, gonna have to get creative.

Personally I designed a flat platform that I can just use any old tent up on the deck. Then tie it down to the anchors. Not gonna spend 2 grand on a RTT, just on the tonneau lol.

I haven't had to remove it yet. But it shouldn't be more than 30 seconds to remove if you replace the 4 nuts with wing nuts. Or the lever clamp nuts whatever they're called.

not a fan of diamond back....sent it back...burnt weld blacken..humped up hinge...wife could stick her hand under top after latched..tailgate side ok much tighter fit with brackets provided...but front no good going into rail system..and the weather strip look like 4yr old install..wavy and when closed 8-10inch section on side look like it was missing till you open up and say its wavy.1750$ no good

Have you considered a camper shell? Everyone says I have a grandpa stuff but it’s so functional!

On my previous truck, I had a Gator brand soft rollup that I got on Amazon. Good quality construction and it served its purpose of covering up my luggage and stuff when I drove down to Texas. You had to open the tailgate to open the cover so it was fairly secure. If someone wanted in, sure they could get in, but I was happy for the intended purpose.

Just got through installing my new Bakflip MX4. My initial thoughts are the build quality is quite nice. I like the appearance of it quite a bit compared to some of the over the bed type fiberglass covers that I’ve owned in the past. I believe it will be very useful since it folds up whereas in the past with other covers must be taken off prior to picking up an item.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been with my wife and she finds a piece of furniture or something that needs to go in the bed of the truck, as a spur of the moment thing not something that I’ve planned out in advance. This cover will be better in those situations as well as being fairly secure since I have a power locking tailgate.

I would get a hard one, but that is my opinion. I always hated looking back and seeing the soft ones flail about.

No, I haven't. I am not a huge fan of that look. But I know what you mean, it really makes the most sense. LOL

After all the posts I think this is the one. It looks so clean and shuts down the concern of sagging during Northeast winters plus its easier to envision it since mine is white too!

I personally went with the BAK Revolver Hard Roll up.

It looks sleek but is also nice and secure if you want to leave things in the back of your truck, like me.

It's pricier than just a regular trifold or basic vinyl roll up, but worth the extra in the long run.

The ratchet pole you have in the back of your bed, holding the bin in place, where did you get that?

    Also just installed a Bakflip MX4 :)
Easy to fold up for loading anything taller than the cover.

Wonder how that cover leaned up against the cab prop rods secure going down the interstate running 70mph? Not to mention when you meet a semi running 60mph on a 2 lane highway on a windy day.

You mean the tiny corner that sticks out? I haven’t noticed any difference on the interstate running 70-80 MPH beside semi trucks. It’s very secure and isn’t affected by the little of wind that hits it.
