If you're sticking with 33s for certain stay with 4.10s or 4.56s tops. @JimboAnz ran 4.56s. Everyone goes to ECGS the warranty and being fairly local you have a huge advantage. I'm on 4.88s with 35s. You won't have to leave it there you'll just have to find something to do for a day and someone to ride down there with you since they are in their new facility that's out in the middle of nowhere.

What does new gears and set up cost at ECGS, out the door? I've considered it but having a manual I'm not sure if I want to regear, 6th is already not tall enough.

    dude, you have no clue.

child birth is scary AF, but when you hold them for the first time, it's a feeling like nothing else. I can't even describe it.

Touche. Yeah he was really early and to this day treated like bubble boy. They came down here to escape NJ in April-Aug last year. We went over to my folks house me and my daughter. He literally told me and my daughter to stay away from him so he doesn't get sick. That's the mindset of my family. He's only 4 too and that's being taught.

Mine was a touch under 5g but that was dual lockers, the mini locker compressor, and enough extra gear oil to do 2 changes. Just the lockers and the compressor will knock off almost 2g.

What do you mean not tall enough like it bogs too much on the highway??? I'd go 4.10s maybe 4.56s if there is a 4.30 option for them that would be what I'd consider. The manuals 1-5 you don't want too much gear behind. 4.10s would be great and 4.30s would be comparable to an auto with 4.56s and 33s. Typically the manual trucks run 4.56s on 35s and 4.88s on autos. For reference.

No that's the MRR. The IMS is internal reservoir shocks. I couldn't justify the extra $1k for the MRR. And I wanted a little better than the standard twin tube kit. Although I'm sure the twin tubes would have worked just fine. I didn't want to destroy the ride quality.

    Basic kit: $900
    IMS: $1350
    MRR: $2500

Although I paid the little extra to have them assembled. One less thing to worry about when installing.

Real Talk, I cried in a movie the other day when a woman was bleeding too much in childbirth and they made the husband leave the room. Had just finished a large glass of whiskey though, so that's my excuse.:anonymous:

Sorry, I mean too short. I would like it to be taller so get better fuel efficiency. Its better now that I have 33"+ tires.

    1st 4.17 3.52
    2nd 2.19 2.04
    3rd 1.49 1.40
    4th 1.19 1.00
    5th 1.00 0.72
    6th 0.85

You'd have to go down in gearing getting taller final gears. I actually got worse fuel mileage at lower RPM and tires than I do now with it just a little over stock RPM at hwy speeds. The 6th gear is already pretty tall gear compared to the autos too much lower and you are really going to be bogged down. The only way to do that is to go from the stock 3.73s to like a 3.55 or something along those lines. If you do that you are really going to suffer with accel from stop and throughout the other speed ranges and rpm.

The 6th gear in your truck is at like a .6something the autos are a .7something.

When our 2nd was bornt, everything was going OK for a natural delivery...water broke, we went to the hospital, got a room, they hooked up Krystal to an IV and starting giving some sort of meds to "speed things up"...babies heart rate crashed...within 30 seconds there were 10 people in the room unhooking her and said they were going straight to the OR, she was going to be put under and I would have to stay in the room "until it was over"...luckily as soon as they got her into the OR the heart rate stabilized and they did a normal c-section and I was allowed in there (again)...talk about freaking the fuck out, holy shit balls, I lost it. makes me choke up thinking about it again.

I have some friends who just had their second at home, deliberately with a dula (spelling?). Turned out ok but I just keep wondering what if they had had something happen like what you are talking about. When seconds count and you are 20 min from the ER.......

The first kid, she had just got done with a regular checkup appointment at the OB on a Friday morning before work. She walking into work, they called her and said, head up to the L&D floor we are admitting you something isn't right, we are doing a c-section on Monday or sooner if something goes wrong.

Monday comes around, get into the OR, things are going OK then she starts losing a lot of blood, when they pulled the baby out she was lifeless - got her on the table and was doing compressions and vent...she came to life in a few seconds and ended up not needing to go to the NICU. Fuck that was rough too.

We had to have our parents go out and buy preemie clothes and diapers because we weren't prepared for such an early delivery. She was 4.5lb and by the time we left she was exactly 4lb.

See above where I pasted it but my gear ratios are lower in every gear. 6th is 0.85 and auto is 0.72. I would not want to go with a higher diff gear, just would have liked them to make 6th taller, like 0.8 or something.
