These Gen 3's seem to be made for modifications. I got this grill from Extreme Terrain. There are lots of grills similar to this on eBay for $99, but I went for this assuming the quality would be better. Feel free anyone to correct me on that if I am wrong. The chrome is ok, but I like the black version better.

This did not take long to do. Maybe 30 minutes total. Directions were not great but they had an online video. Highly recommended!

    Looks good.

I think for me personally, I have a different idea of what extreme is though. More lights, more spikes, maybe a horned demon head. I’ve done those to my rides before, that would be more extreme for me.

I've seen a much nicer version on ebay/etsy with both yellow and white lights (obvi triple the price), biggest question is the legitimacy of the plastic

Also, is there a specified number of raptor lights that one must use to become bro status? Ive seen 3 or 4 but the wiring diagrams make it seem that you could use endless amounts with the right fuse and relays. How much is too much?

Everything is as I received the truck, except the grill.

Extreme Terrain does sell the version with the white DRL's like your pic for $10 more. I chose not to get them, maybe a little regret though after looking at those pics!!
The plastic on this one looks good, no complaints. A few places in the grill that have some leftovers from the injection molding process, but trimmed easily with a sharp knife. Time will tell as far as fading, warping, etc. goes. This truck stays in the garage most of the time so that should help the lifespan. Definitely new at this so I am not pushing this particular grill. Initially, it seems like I made a good choice. Certainly plenty of options out there, this was just the one I chose.
