October 2019 I purchased $1,135.00 in parts from RST. Over the next 6 months I reached out to them a few times and was assured the parts would ship out “next week”. Per PayPal’s 180 day dispute policy, I requested a refund at day 178. Wyatt was super apologetic and told me that he would refund me and ship the parts. Great! I’ll actually be able to get my truck back together and have my garage space back. Well, he sent my refund check that was short $100. I told him he could use it for shipping, no worries. It’s been almost a year and still, my truck sits in pieces, no parts and no communication from him.

I was thinking that I was going to have to take him to small claims court. This really sucks because it looks like he does good work. zkuhi, how long has it been since you placed your order?

I had an order from NOVEMBER 4, 2019.. Just received most of my parts after an 11 month waiting period. Still had to purchase from BALLISTIC and RUFFSTUFF to get all the parts I needed to finish the project! FUCK THAT!!! The joints or CURRIE, the axle/frame braces are BALLASTIC, What a crock!!!

I had an issue for a small order similar, was told it would ship and didn't. Sent multiple emails and phone calls. Finally got him on the phone and he assured me it would ship out 3 days later it showed up. But took like 3 weeks longer than it should have.

Wyatt has been in and out of the hospital for the past year and has been diagnosed with a very aggressive form of MS.

Not excusing lack of info, but some insight into what they’ve been dealing with. I’m sure they’re doing the best they can given the circumstances they’ve been dealt. Lot of delays, lot of reason for them.

This is why I don't jump to conclusions with vendors. You never know what's going on in the background. Buddy of mine has MS but he still does his yard work on his own and he's currently remodeling his bathroom at a slower pace but he enjoys it and also wants it done right

I understand that but needs better communication and in sight in to why theres a delay. Not just ghosting people.

That doesn't excuse the "I'm shipping it this week." response for 10 months!!!

Nobody excused anything or tried to.. just info. There’s a member here with a 4 year truck build that had a lot of delay and a crazy amount of money invested over that time. He’s been delayed the same as anybody else, same promises, same boat with Wyatt’s health as you guys.

Take the perspective however you want, but nobody is providing an excuse.

Yeah I had some work done by them, a 2 week quote turned into 3+ months. They did get shut down with covid for a while, and had issues with parts, but it still shouldn't have been that long. They do great work, but the timeline is just crazy. Big props for making an 8 hour drive to drop the truck off for me though. Being in the bay area, I had to make a long drive and take time off work to drop the truck off. After coming back after the 2 weeks and seeing no progress, that was another couple of days wasted. Wyatt was understanding with how long it took, so he trailered it to my house. They've got some badass rigs in the works in the shop, but man I can definitely see a full build taking literal years there.

I’ve purchased a transfer case $1,600 some odd dollars on 10/27. I was originally told it would take 3-5 days shipping and a day to put together. Let’s just say I have not received it and was told last week it shipped. Upon speaking to him today I was told that was not my transfer case but someone else’s and mind would ship today. No shipping received after reading the above reviews I’m nervous I’m getting scammed.

Please don’t give me a feel sorry story for the individual we all have our own personal issues. I am sorry for whatever he is going through however that does not justify lying

*** I did receive a shipping number fingers crossed all is correct!

Placed my order on 12/7 and still haven't received it. Everyday for about a week I was assured it would ship that day. Eventually he dropped all contact, won't reply to my emails, won't answer phone calls. It's just super gnarly because I'm relying heavily on a part I can only get from him :/ if he called me up and went "hey dude sorry shits crazy rn it's gonna ship out within blah blah days/weeks I would be stoked. But I live in the same state. I don't think it takes a month for the postal service to ship out a 1/4 pound product

Add switch for my 4th gen 4runner. The harness that activates the front diff for the fj case swap. I was told he had like 3 in stock before ordering

You could make one if you dont want to wait. I have one and i know who he buys the switches from. I could show you the wiring on mine if you didnt want to wait. Ive looked up a replacement switch for mine before because the LED went out in it. They like 12 bucks lol.

Im not sure if the 4runner and tacoma wiring is the same. It would be badass if it is. Where does it plug in to

Yeah they use the same diff. Does the harness plug directly into the diff?
