You've washed away the engine. Hopefully you can fish it out of the floor drain. :)

OK, so if your using a th400 and planning to keep toyota as your engine of choice we have 2 options. 2jz supra engine, or a uzfe engine. 2jz in its stock form only putting out 209-220 lbft of torque, but the uzfe puts down between 260-325 lbft. Now the 2jz is a very tunable engine, but is going to lack that lower end grunt needed to get a lifted tacoma on 35s moving. So.... 2uzfe is still my guess here, its easily available unlike the 2jz engine is, its tunable and comes in a at 4.7l so it can be fit into the engine bay of the tacoma, plus its came in a supercharged version from trd.

If your not going with toyota, then I hope your not putting a ls in there.

How "showy" are either of those Toyota engines though? Since he mentioned making it a focal point, I'd imagine it should be at least kind of interesting/pretty.

the uzfe can be a pretty looking engine. Though much of it is plastic covers. I dont think many engines in the last 15 years are very "showy" most of them have plastic covers covering all the wires for all the sensors and injectors and spark plugs. Showy engines I feel died in the early 2000s.

Put in a Mountain Hatch tailgate insert. These guys make a really good product. I bought rather than fabricate my own because I believe in supporting small businesses who make great innovative products. (And the last thing I attempted to fabricate is still stuck in the ceiling )BF13753D-647C-4E67-B386-A598098449FB.jpg

    Minor stuff.
Installed my S2 pro pods today. My original plan did not happen as the installation did not come out right so I went to plan b. Going to adjust them later while my son is at hockey.
