Anyone who has done the CRC already at the dealer how long did they have your truck for? Just trying to plan ahead when I take mine in in a few weeks.

They had it a day and gave me a third gen loaner that was definitely an abused trade in lol. It was filthy, wasn't a fan of it.... probably because it wasn't lifted lol

Mine was 3 days, but they did the black spray..this was a year or 2 ago, IDK if they're now doing some kind of fill inside the frame instead. They gave me a F150 double cab, which was a nice ride but way more truck than I'll ever need.

They're a decent live show actually, saw them with Rancid a couple of years ago

This song you speak of is called "Opus Number 1". It was in the Cisco phone systems. I know this because one day at work, I was on hold waiting for IT for about an hour and a half and decided to google it and found out about the history of it as well as a 10 hour version of it on youtube. It was a super slow day in the office...

After I got off the phone with IT, I decided to setup a 15" powered speaker in the warehouse and blast that shit and walk away because I am an asshole.

I think it would have been more fun if you played Glenn Danzig's works

Hahaha! Unfortunately(fortunately), I worked with a few people who would enjoy that! You can't go wrong playing Danzig to get work done!

Looking to get rid of my sonos. The constant updates keep bricking older speakers and won't connect to new ones etc... They just have turned into some shit show and their IT department sucks a huge one. I can't do it anymore.

What would be a pretty good company to replace it with? Sonos is going to get sent to the basement tv if I don't smash the shit out of them before then.

Oh wow, I thought the Sonos was the shiznit. My buddy has a playbar and sub and it sounds better and is louder than any concert I have ever been to. It's god damn amazing! If I wanted to spend $1400 on a music system that's what I would get, but I'll stick to my little bluetooth speakers.

Good to know! And God do I love multi-hour loops on youtube!

I feel like companies use that song to drive people on hold insane. It works really well.
I have this fancy Bose 5.1 system that is 20 years old, run through a newer high end Marantz. It does speaker things, it does video things, and it makes noises when you want it to. I even have a second Boston Acoustics subwoofer hooked up to it!
I'm glad I didn't get a Sonos when they had that huge sale before Christmas! Call me old fashioned, but a well tuned 4+ speaker system is better and easier than these new fangled speaker thingies.

I have that same set up, they are the only two things that still work.

    not working:
    1 move
    4 ones
    2 play 5s

fuck these guys the Move is even a new product!!!

Also not user error because my friend who runs a tech installation company and does all our internet, security and camera systems and is smarter than anyone I know can’t get them working either.

Did you ask a kid? It’s like when we were kids and our parents couldn’t operate a VCR. I built computers, installed stereo systems in homes and autos and I still have to ask my teenagers how to do some tech shit now.

Originally I was told I could get a loaner and they'd have it for a day or so but I already had my frame inspection done so I should only be getting the CRC applied and have been told it should only be 4 hours or so and that I shouldn't "need" a loaner. So someone I know at that dealer is letting me borrow their car for the day so I can at least go to work.

Long story short I've just heard so many different timelines of how long I won't have my truck...

I have a few friends that are pushing the Sonos sound bar and sub on me for my living room but I haven't been that impressed with the sound. I am going to stick with a passive sound bar with a decent receiver...
