This is relevant to my (personal) interests :D

I've been thinking about similar for my Prinsu. Just have the standard S2 bracket bolted on as of right now.

What did you use to make the cuts? Would love to see me some pics of the backside if you ever get a chance. Feel free to DM.

    Looks clean!

I used these brackets from 4x4truckleds.com and added some m8 rivnuts to the grill to mount the brackets to. It will flip the lights upside down but it doesn't matter.
I just got then wired up finally last weekend. Don't have any good output shots since the next day found out the wife got covid so we've been couped up inside.

Thanks! I’ll have to see if I can make it work on a TRD OR grill

Here is the back of my Prinsu roof rack with the flush mount S2 PRo’s installed. My installer used the included template and found the perfect placement. Then marked all 4 corners. Drilled out the corners with a drill bit, then connected the dots. He used an air powered cutting tool of some type, not sure exactly what. Then ground all of the rough cut edges smooth, and did some touch up with black paint. Then just installed the flush mounts with the 4 screws. I’m very happy with the end result, very clean look.

I believe Prinsu’s are aluminum? If so, you can use a router. Pretty easy that way. Just make a square template the size you need, and a bit with a guide. I did this on my UpTop for another set of lights. Be sure to use something to protect it from scratching though, like a layer of painters tape.

    Minor stuff.
Just started working on my fog light project. I am convinced that there should be something in the top part of the Pro fog lights. I brought the Baja Designs S2 pods Because they were the closest that would “fit”. So I ordered a new housing to practice on. I cut the back and trimmed down the housing. Still have to make some bracket. But first step is done. On Saturday or Sunday, depending on the weather, I will rig it up and see how the light output is.

Any photos of the reverse (work scene) lights? Interested in the pattern they provide. Thanks!

Installed my S2 pros today. I originally wanted to put them about the OEM TRD fog lights but it wasn’t working out so I went with plan b and in the grill. They came out perfect.

They are. But my PIAAs are SAE and I feel they don’t do anything.

I do. And they are bright! Exactly what I was looking for. Got them aimed just right too and have not been flashed yet thankfully. But I only plan to use them for fog or crappy weather. I’m already throwing around the idea of moving those S2s to ditch lights and put a pair of squadron pros into the grill.
