I was reading the this thread and saw the bolt issue so emailed immediately on Jan 3rd (grab handle receipt day), and on Jan 12th, I received USPS shipping notice from KTJO. Should be in my hands tomorrow

 

I suspect the shift knob got stuck during the iron cross maneuver, and he can't go to the ER for extraction because corona...

I dunno. I just have questions. Woke up with a searing headache, the handle installed, and sore in all sorts of places. Oh! And SOMEONE did a shit job on my legs and nails while I was unconscious!

Sorry boys, I was hoping to join the pitchfork gang, but install was about 20 mins, didn’t bend anything, correct parts, finished product looks good.

I feel for those who’ve had issues, and based on her treatment of those with problems I can’t say I’d order anything else from her.

@MESO she definitely is not.

 

Day 3 of no response regarding warranty request. The wait continues.

 

Just sent my back for a refund since the handle had a few gouges. Didn’t want to deal with an exchange. Will be fun to see how long it takes to process a refund. Hope she doesn’t try to charge a restocking fee...

 

What was her response time from your initial warranty email?

 

I got a response from Josh around 2 days after I initially emailed.

I just responded to the shipping email I received when they sent the tracking info.

 

Mine’s fine too. There are teeny pitting spots or small odd coloring veins here or there —- very minor. The covers are the weak bit, with the lower one having a slight underbite, but it’s nothing that can’t be solved with a dab of glue in the crack. My bolts went in at an odd angle but I just rolled the whole assembly toward the door and tightened it; everything basically pulled into position.

It feels very sturdy and that’s what I wanted.

I’m still pitchforky that it took 5+ weeks to ship the things to us OGs, and my mom and Tacomabreast got one before I did, but whatever.

Installer fail. Removing the tweeter grill makes seating it correctly super simple.
