I shot one the same week I got my Ruger. I fell in love with the gun, but couldn't afford the nearly 800 price tag at the time. Fast forwards a year and a half and I got a realllly good trade in deal on my Ruger and only gave 300 for this Kimber.

It's buttery smooth, less "snap" kick than my security 9, much more accurate too I've found. (Ymmv) Overall it feels great in my hand, decently balanced, and just puts a smile on my face when I take it to the range. Only downside is how expensive .45 is right now.

I lucked up and bought 750 more rounds of .45 from a lady I know recently, her husband passed. The only .45 I have is the XDs right now. I’ll never shoot it all through that gun. I guess I need to find another .45 pistol :D

Right before this whole pandemic hit, I bought a Remington .22 "bucket o bullets" it's 1500 rounds. I also bought the mp5 remake in .22 to have fun with. I've only put 100 rounds through it....

I’ve had a couple of them, never fell in love with them. Both Springfields.

One part I really like about the kimber is there's no slop. Tight gun, but very smooth. No rattles or flimsy feeling bits.

    Yep. New science building.

In the 9 years I've been here, we've done a few complete gut jobs on buildings, a bunch of bathrooms in the dorms, a TON of smaller projects and this is, if I'm remembering correctly, the 5th completely new building. And I think we've demolished 9 buildings. I have time lapse videos I've put together for the 4 buildings that have been completed. Kind of fun to watch the site get stripped or the buildings demoed and the new building built over a few minutes. :)

The table is getting some industrial ball bearing slides to hold the top on the rails and the material rack has about two tons of steel on it. I’ll get you some pictures when we finish the table.

If any of you are looking for a fun .22 plinking/giggle gun, then look no further. Find one of these and enjoy sending lots of .22 lead down range. It doesn't require an NFA license, the silencer is non functional. It's just there to meet minimum barrel length regulations. Although it is very quiet when shooting, nearly ear safe in my experience. F6F66F29-99B1-427B-9B0D-BE556D49FB86.jpgC834ED6E-CD79-4FF5-A7B3-BAE97D076528.jpg

I'm hoping they clearly specified where the .050" was supposed to come off. Nice set up.

Yes sir. Thank you! On time even! The landing was a little turbulent with some high winds. Now were in a blizzard warning until tomorrow afternoon I believe.
I have CC permit for close to 15 years. Ruger LCP 380, LCR 38, or SCCY 9mm, or S&W M&P40, the latter 2 more of vehicle carry. I'm pretty sure HK USP 40 is in my Tacomao_O
