Proportioning valve is done,



Cleaned up the engine bay a little too.

 

So I know we all like talking about tires,so I have a question. I have small vibration I can feel in the seat at about 55 with the new tires. It's not bad, but I notice it and then it goes away at highway speed. I'm assuming it's the rear tires balance. Do I add air or remove air to fine tune that tire balance?
My truck has no extra weight on the rear unlike most of y'all.

Anyone replace their wheel bearings on their gen 2?

It’s really not bad imo. I’ve purchased some from a member on here that builds them with OEM bearings, but the one I’ve been replacing a lot recently(under warranty) is a
advanced auto special

 

I got hub assemblies for mine from eBay with Koyo bearings and OEM studs. Really easy to replace, just don’t forget about the little rubber seal.

I believe so. I have front drivers side vibes, feels ruff and something just not right. I have had tire balanced, rotated and front aligned and no change. Just don’t know what else it could be.

Does it change pitch or go away when you turn or weave side to side?

 

I have replaced my driver side. Started to feel weird up there and kinda sounded like bad brakes. Thought it might be brakes but was bearing.

It does not. Vibes feel slightly more pronounced when turning.

 

If you’re 2wd that’s probably it. I’d think if it was vibrating it might be shot enough to have some play in it. Mine weren’t that bad, but you can jack the wheel off the ground, grab the wheel and try to wiggle it. Shouldn’t have any play.

 

That’s what @medic2230 told me. Going to order a set today.
