getting ready to order a set of XD's but a question

    so here's the details, my truck has 5100's on the front set at 1.75 and no tsb done to the rear, i'm trying to figure out what offset/backspacing to go with, gonna run the tires i have for now 265/70/17's since they're pretty much brand new

    A 5.71in backspace 18mm offset

    B 4.53in backspace 12mm offset

    anyone?

    For both sets of wheels that I have had I went with B. They fit perfect and your wheels bearings will not wear out as fast from the wheel sticking out so much and putting extra strain on the bearings.

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    B sticks out further than A...but none the less, ~4.5" BS is the norm around here for 265s/285s

    thanks for the help, the wheels are on their way!!! hopefully they show up as a early christmas present for the taco:D

    You didn't post the wheel width, but looks like prob a 9" width? Looks like option B is gonna be your best bet. 5.71" backspace might rub UCA if you move up to a wider tire.
