I have a 4 inch lift on my 14 DCLB and had no issues with Falken Wildpeaks a3tw, great tires. Now I’m running Maxxis Razr’s which have done well in the rain but haven’t had the chance to try them in the snow yet.

Hey, what size did you go with your maxxis razrs? did you get the new AT? SL or LT rating? how is the road noise and comfort on the highway?

    Thanks!!

Lt 285/70/17. The road noise is minimal for an aggressive tread. As far as comfort, hard to tell, I’m running Fox 2.0 shocks plus I have Firestone Ride Rite air bags. I personally like the way it rides and handles. I just had tires rotated yesterday with 5k miles, no noticeable wear yet.

I wouldn’t say that my truck is set up for comfort but I like the way it rides and handles. The Maxxis Razr’s do have a 40k mile warranty which is pretty good for an aggressive tire.

i went from Duratracs to Wildpeaks and notice a significant improvement in road noise. its so much quieter with the Wildpeaks.

The wildpeaks are very quiet but I wanted something more aggressive for deer hunting.

it was almost time for me to update and went with Wildpeaks first winter season with them and have only got one trip out to the mountains they are pretty good in the snow for the most part. ice no the best in 2WD more confident when im in 4WD but i think really that is more on how are trucks are setup. when it gets slick, pop it into 4WD the light rears and RWD can get drifty.

That’s what I thought too...I guess some guys aren’t happy unless they’re trashing other peoples trucks.
