A pain to install and still figuring out but what a fun mod for a Friday.

Nothing wild, but replaced the factory ARB plastic surrounds with SLEE’s. Also added a SLEE offset Hawse.

certainly cleans up the look. I may upgrade for a hawse seeing this. Pretty penny to replace the plastic surrounds it seems.

I just wasn’t a fan of the plastic fading to a gray.

truck looks great, you have good taste.

    that's a great idea, I like it.

I like the D rings also, but did you put something inside the door to put a nut behind? OEM, those screws are just run into nylon inserts...they won't hold up to too much pull.

    Very cool.

The textured material is actually a thick vinyl wrap that is incredibly strong. Love it. Tutorial vid coming tomorrow.

Thanks! Totally stole the cupholder idea from a company who makes the tailgate panels but can't remember which one. Yeah the D-rings aren't meant for anything too heavy.

Very nice! I was thinking about buying one soon. But I think I'll wait for your tutorial vid.

I also mounted a few D-rings in that location but some how they ended up striping the plastic threading in the gate. Beware

Already Amazon'd a pair of those cupholder inserts. I've got the Relentless tailgate plate that wraps around the top, which I need, and love. Can't see that it would weaken that gate to do the same. Best of both worlds. I'll let it stew...nice idea!

Ya they're better than the stock ones they came with. Nothing to do back flips over though.

Drove the Tacoma to the parts store to get supplies to change the oil in our little Lexus NX300h. Really don't care for these oil filters that you have to remove an actual filter element inside the housing and replace. Much more messy than our all-in-one filter for the Tacomas.

Overall a very easy job and added a Fumoto valve to the Lexus as well.
