I use Solidworks everyday. I rarely use AutoCad or Visio, few times a month maybe

You design servers? I use AutoCAD and Revit everyday. Electrical and fire alarm design for mostly mid and high rise buildings. But I use Inventor for my fun projects on the 3D printer and CNC.

Finished deadening all four doors and rear wall. This will be the 3rd vehicle I have performed this on and I think I have achieved my best results so far. Used about 30sq ft total, most of the material is on the inside skin of door, on the sheet metal. Mostly Noico 80mil(the cheap stuff off Amazon) but had to buy a box of stuff locally and it was insanely expensive, but better quality, I layered the nice stuff on top of the noico in the doors. Also added some mattress foam to the air dumps on the back wall, a lot of noise comes through those vents. Pictures don’t show how much I was able to get in behind the first layer of sheet metal, spent most of the time cutting, applying and rolling in those areas. Also put some on the inside of the plastic panels too.

-stock base entune audio + oem speakers sound so much better, it’s amazing how good those cardboard speakers work.
-reduced road noise, so much quieter especially if you like to have your rear seats down or removed entirely
-doors feel like fancy car doors, nice and heavy with a satisfying *thunk* sound

wish I had more of a reason to rip out the interior floor, would love to do that too... and the roof... f* it’s never ending!

Why not just change out the 12v adapter for a USB?

Because I need two 12v sockets. One is for charging the Midland PPG1000 power station and the other is for the fridge. In hindsight, I probably should've just changed the connectors to a waterproof 12v plug and socket. I guess I will do it next time around.

Installed CaliRaised LED low profile ditch light brackets and side shooter led lights.

Super easy installation, hardest part was pushing the coat hanger thru the firewall boot.

Not surprising given the photos you shared. I think I saw at least one with the remnants of tree debris all over a large portion of the roof.

Just finished installing the kicker speakers this evening. I recommend changing out the factory speakers. The sound is so much more clear. The door panels was interesting to take off since I had never done it before. I enlisted my brother to help he has a body shop. He had 3 removed before I got one. He said man you are too gentle. I said I don’t want to break anything. He laughed and yanked the panel off. I should use some sound deadening on the back of the cab. Good idea.

It didnt fall over like we thought at first. Top 60ft broke off and landed on the house then slid down onto the deck.

Shew those pines are beautiful but when they decide to go they can be costly. Glad no one was injured and the damage wasn’t worse. The previous owners of my house had a pretty Christmas tree planted too close to my house when I bought it. I said I will end up having to cut that one day. About a year later my wife backed into it with my truck and I said today is the day!
