If it’s a hydraulic filter I have problems. I drained fuel from the old filter.

Yes I’m sure it’s a fuel filter. It has a spin-on filter and a water separator. You can see the water separator to the right of the spin-on filter in the next to last photo.

    oem filter numbers:
    Spin-on fuel filter: HH166-43560
    Water Separator: 15831-43380

My filter head is in a great spot with access, without the loader on. The subframe is in the way.

I started working on a subsoiler and middlebuster for my 3240 sleeve hitch. I had some stuff I picked up in a buy from an iron scrapper. Plan to make it interchangable from one to the other in the mount.

If my terminology on the plowshare is wrong please correct me. It is adjustable for angle and depth. I plan to rig it up with a 2" receiver to sleeve hitch adapter that I will fab. Still kicking around if I'm gonna use the notches for depth or just drill holes in the shafts. I wish these just had holes in them vs the notches.

I got a good start Sunday but the inlaws invited themselves over and I got halted. The heavy hitch subsoiler setup below is what I plan to copy.

Welded this up today. I was gonna tack it with my 115V flux welder and then stick weld it with 7018 but got lazy and welded it up with it completely. Did fine on the 1/4" plate. I had the hitch set to downpressure so burying the plow just unloaded the tires. Traction is hard to get enough of on GT weight machines. I will weld a pipe on the plow hitch to hang weight plates on it, set the hitch to float and it won't unload the tires so bad.

Round 2 with float and 125lbs of weights on it and the factory welds (not mine) on the hitch broke off. No penetration on them. I almost cut them off to move the hitch a little higher right before doing this vid as it was hanging down pretty low. Saved me cutting them. I'll burn those suckers in.

Help drain standing water in your yard or wherever, by opening up the ground. Works really good for burying electrical wire too

As above plus to loosen soil so I can scoop it with my loader. GTs don't have enough weight to really dig in well so loosening dirt really helps. I put it in my rocky soil as well to see how it did. This implement is a middlebuster which pushes soil up and out of the cut but I also have a subsoiler I can bolt on to the hitch I built today. It just digs without pushing soil up. It is like a single ripper tine on a box blade.

Feel my pain. GTs are hard to get traction with. That's 200lbs of wheelweights and diff locked. Could use 200 more.

This one came in with a PTO light on all the time but PTO engages manually. Turns out one of the wires to the PTO relay were broken and causing the light to stay on. Fun stuff.

Got my stump out with only cutting 3 sections. Glad there was no tap root.

When I was watching that vid I posted the other night I realized I had the plowshare set at a rearward angle. I feel like that was lifting the rear of the tractor causing traction issues. I got home last night and changed the angle to point forward. Easy adjustment on this just loosening the top bolt and pivoting it fwd. It made a difference.
